The Prayagraj Branch has its own office premises at ICAI Bhawan, 2nd Floor Tulsiani Plaza, Civil Lines, Prayagraj which was inaugurated by the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, CA. Sunil Goyal on 15^th February 2024 (Sunday). The Chairman of branch at that time was CA. Kamal Mimani and Secretary was CA. Sujoy Malik.

The branch has been growing ever since its inception and today Prayagraj branch of the Central India Regional Council is one of the key branches not only in Uttar Pradesh but in the entire Central India Regional Council. The responsibility taken upon by the first chairman of our branch CA. S.H. Jain of making the branch as one of the key drivers for institutes activities has been very successfully taken upon and carried on by coming office bearers and now by the continuing chairman CA. Gaurav Mishra. The objective of the working of the branch has been and always will be to serve to the needs of the members and students and be instrumental in carrying out the activities of the institute successfully. The branch is committed to the highest standards of service for its members and to maintain a polite and    professional    manner    in    the    contact    with    members.

Today the branch has a total strength of more than 590 members and a total strength of students of 1000. The city has the reputation of producing quality-chartered accountants over the years. The city has produced renowned chartered accountants who have not only earned the reputation in their own field but has set an example to follow for others. The senior members of our profession have always been a role model for the upcoming chartered accountants and have always been at the fore front of the activities of the branch.

The institute has taken various steps in this area like:-

• Conducting of the CPE seminars, workshops and conferences for members and
• Conducting regular GMCS, Orientation Courses, ITT and ITT.
• Post Qualification courses and Certificate Courses offered by ICAI

The Prayagraj branch has been a successful host to various conferences, seminars and contests. The branch has had a history of organizing a good number of seminars, workshops, and study circle meetings.

The branch is not only working towards the betterment of members but also towards the growth of the students. The branch has been very active over the years in organizing student activities like local level elocution contests,quiz contests, essay and pitch deck competitions, debate competitions. The branch has also organized several Pitch deck and Essay contests at regional level successfully.

The Branch is actively taking initiatives for various Sports Activities for Students like-Cricket Match, Badminton match, Table tennis match,

100 mtr and 200 mtr races, tug of war, chess and carrom Competitions, etc.

The branch is working towards its motto and mission of serving the needs of the members and students and be instrumental in carrying out the activities of the institute successfully.
